Working together for Kanti

on

Even the rain was not enough to deter the boys and girls from Tranmere Rovers’ youth club from walking about 15 miles along the Wirral Way to help raise money for So the Child May Live.
Rubin Cavanagh told his friends about our work with the Kanti Children’s Hospital in Nepal. He had been particularly moved when he read about the parents who had carried their two badly burned boys down the mountain from the village where they lived to get them to the hospital in Kathmandu. Supported by Tranmere Rovers Football Club and Tranmere in the Community, they decided to do the walk, carrying the equivalent weights of the two boys. And they did it!

A great effort! Thank you so much to everyone involved.
