In 2017 a number of our supporters went out to Nepal to see something of the country and also to visit the Kanti Children’s Hospital and see for themselves how we are making a difference to the lives of children and families there.
One of those who joined us was Amy Ashley-Mather, who is also a keen photographer. She is a member of the South Liverpool Photographic Society and she recently gave an illustrated talk to them. As one of them said afterwards, “It was a joy to see such a young member with so much enthusiasm for her photography and her charity work.” Following her talk, the members decided to take up a collection and raised over £100 for So the Child May Live. (The image shows Amy in Nepal, in local costume with a Nepalese woman she met there.)
Many thanks, Amy, and all the members of the South Liverpool Photographic Society, for your support and generosity.
